Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years License: California OT License or eligible to obtain Certifications: BLS, NBCOT Must-Have: - Experience in the assessment and treatment of pediatric patients with varied developmental conditions. - Experience with Autism, sensory challenges, fine motor delay, and regulation issues. Description: Position is for an occupational therapist experienced in pediatrics. Candidates must have experience in assessing and treating developmental conditions. Experience with feeding and eating is preferred but not required. Shift is Tuesday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:30, with Monday off. No on-call requirements. The position allows flexibility based on patient volume. Guaranteed hours are provided after call-off policies are met. Candidates must be willing to obtain a California license if licensed in another state. Two years of experience is required. Candidates must have NBCOT certification and BLS certification. Pediatric outpatient experience is preferable. Children’s hospital experience is also preferred but not mandatory. Daily responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, and family education. Candidates will work with various developmental diagnoses.
